John is a lifelong resident of Pontotoc County, growing up in the City of Pontotoc he attended Pontotoc City Schools, Itawamba Community College and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1978. He now lives in the Randolph community in Pontotoc County where he and his wife Debby actively attend County Line Baptist Church. He has four daughters, three son in laws and three grandchildren. He enjoys family activities and hunting, fishing and traveling as hobbies. He has been practicing accounting in the North Mississippi area since 1978 and received his CPA license from the Mississippi State Board of Public Accountancy in 1980. He founded this firm in Pontotoc in October 1981. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Laurin is a Pontotoc county native, she attended South Pontotoc Attendance Center and then on to the University of Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Master's degree in Taxation in 2010. She and her husband David live in the City of Pontotoc. They are active members at County Line Baptist Church in Randolph. Laurin loves to visit Branson, Missouri anytime she can. She is a youth leader and sunday school teacher at her church. Laurin joined this firm in August of 2010 and received her CPA license from the State of Mississippi Board of Accountancy in September 2011. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.
